Job Summary and QualificationsTo ensure the delivery of optimal patient care through the coordination of clinical activities, staff supervision, personnel leadership/management, and unit organization. Demonstrates a service excellence approach and communicates this expectation to staff. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by achieving financial objectives of designated unit(s). Leads and coaches the development and growth of a safety culture in the department.

- Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct at all times
- Demonstrates and maintains good employee/peer relationship and teamwork
- Prioritize work and duties and must work well under stressful situations
- Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills with patients, families, physicians, peers and healthcare team
- Demonstrates accountability for direct patient care, applies nursing process, prioritizes care and evaluates outcome
- Participates and facilitates in the discharge planning process and assists with decreasing readmissions
- Documents all aspects of patient care efficiently, accurately and per policy recommendations.
- Delegate's patient care to license/ non licensed nursing staff, based on acuity, needs of patient, staff availability and qualifications
- Participates in Performance Improvement activity
- Provides leadership support in day-day clinical unit operations and supports a culture of safety on the unit
What qualifications you will need:- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- (RN) Registered Nurse license required
- Bachelors Degree required
- 3 years nursing experience in an acute care setting.
