Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of TX or compact license
  • Bachelors Degree required, MSN preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred. Will take Med Surg, PCU, Surgical Ortho or other acute areas of experience.
  • 1+ leadership experienced required
  • Advanced nurse certification preferred
  • Strong accountability to the unit, patients and yourself.
  • Ability to be respectful of your team, patients, families and our organization
  • Strong time management abilities
  • Strong communication- willing to have the difficult conversations
  • Ability to cultivate a strong team and get buy in from staff on the HCA way and ability to explain the why behind decisions
  • Must have a strong presence within the unit
  • Must be flexible with changes and have the ability to pivot when needed
  • Looking for someone who is driven, coachable, and has a team oriented approach
