JOB DESCRIPTION

RN Nurse Manager - Rehabilitation

Schedule: Monday - Friday

8 AM to 4:30 PM

Annual Range: $90,000 to $114,000 annually

How you’ll contribute:

A RN Nurse Manger who excels in this role:

  • Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
  • Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
  • Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
  • Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have an active New Jersey RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.  Graduate of a professional nursing program (AND, BSN or Diploma). 

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required 
  • Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and rehabilitation-focused mindset
