Nurse Manager

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations within our Adult Residential Treatment Program located at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Someone who is passionate about developing nursing staff, driving quality outcomes, and creating a positive, collaborative environment for both patients and employees. What You'll Be Doing
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and employee development
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing staff while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
  • Supporting program growth through goal setting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promoting patient safety and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, families, and support departments to coordinate care and address patient needs
  • Serving as a clinical resource and working as a staff nurse when necessary to maintain adequate coverage
  • Supporting organizational policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and licensing standards
  • Leading quality improvement and performance management initiatives related to nursing services and patient outcomes
  • Monitoring and maintaining required competencies, certifications, and licensure for nursing staff
  • Addressing workplace concerns and utilizing problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to support a healthy work environment
  • Completing employee evaluations and implementing development plans when needed
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, records, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or healthcare leadership preferred

Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a multistate license recognized through the Nurse Licensure Compact

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related software platforms
  • Experience with electronic health records and healthcare documentation systems preferred
