Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direction of the Department Director provides oversight for the Emergency Department and application of the nursing process and nursing standards in assessing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of nursing care. Participates in the coordination of department activities on a 24-hour basis to optimize quality and cost effective care. In the absence of the Director assumes responsibility for direction in the Emergency Department. Maintain standards of professional nursing and supports the mission and vision of JFK Medical Center.
What qualifications you will need:- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- 5 years experience Required Years of Experience
