Job Summary: Responsible for oversight of Clinical Research Nursing department and Patient Care Technicians, if applicable.
Compensation: $95,000 - $118,000 depending on experience, education, and skillset.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:- Creates staff schedules, delegates assignments and tasks.
- Evaluates employee performance and disciplinary action.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for all participants on the assigned unit.
- Provides and supervises direct inpatient care and assessment, ensuring quality care is provided to the participants while housed at the site.
- Trains and educates nursing staff as appropriate on procedures conducted in trial (including but not limited to; vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy) as well as protocol review.
- Coordinates in-service training, evaluations, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions.
- Ensures safety of participants and staff on site.
- Collaborating with management team and various departments to ensure that studies are conducted efficiently and are completed with the highest quality standards and outcomes;

Education/Experience/Skills:- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in the state in which the employee will be working, and not have any disciplinary actions on the license.
- At least 2 years of inpatient RN experince.
- Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with patients.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Must reflect the professional image of the company, upholding the company vision in actions and demeanor.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
Working Conditions - Indoor, Clinic environment.
- Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
- Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
