This Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Emergency Department.

Our Nurse Manager will:

• Provide for leadership and direction of the patient care units, providing oversight for the standard of practice utilized in their patient care areas.
• Have shift responsibility for the fiscal and operational aspects of their patient care units in coordination with the Director of Nursing.
• Share responsibility for meeting regulatory agency requirements.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth
• Participate in managing budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling
• Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience

What you’ll bring:

• Passion for Emergency Nursing
• 2-5+ Years of recent clinical RN experience working in an Emergency Department setting
• Previous leadership experience
• Regulatory knowledge
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
