- Rapid Assessment & Triage: Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care, performing rapid and accurate assessments to prioritize patient needs and facilitate timely intervention for various medical and traumatic emergencies.
- Emergency Interventions: Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities, balanced with the urgent needs and comfort of critically ill or injured patients. Initiates and manages life-saving interventions
- Patient & Family Support: Serves as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices, offering support and clear communication to patients and their families during highly stressful times.
- Clinical Acuity & Adaptability: Demonstrates the ability to recognize, interpret, and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner, often under pressure.
Job RequirementsRequired- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Preferred: BSN
- Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in ED
- AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
- American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
