Job Description

Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position for an Nuclear Security Shift Supervisor (Lieutenant). The Nuclear Security Supervisor (LT)/Response Team Leader (RTL) is responsible for: daily supervision of shift operations; deployment of the Security Force during contingency events; alarm station operations; and intrusion detection system monitoring, alarm assessment, and testing. The Supervisor will ensure that daily shift operations are conducted with safety as the number one priority, and he/she will ensure that a healthy Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) is modeled and maintained..

  • Site located in Waterford, CT
  • Pay Rate $43.66 - $44.41
  • Must have at least 18 months experience as Alarm Station Responder (Sergeant)


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide supervision and work direction for Security Professionals; provide training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Supervise, observe, and evaluate the job performance of Security Professionals
  • Conduct post inspections; provide counseling and discipline for identified deficiencies in Security Professionals' performance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must be able to possess and maintain state-required license(s) for armed assignment
    • Must be able to possess and maintain Armed Officer and Responder certification in accordance with regulatory requirements and site Training and Qualification plan
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
    • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a qualified Nuclear Security Professional
