Nuclear Planning Specialist (Site Projects)

The Nuclear Planning Specialist develops DCP, DECP, TCC plans and packages work orders used to support a wide variety of plant modifications.
The successful candidate will be adept at standard Microsoft Office Suite computer tools and must be able to quickly learn new programs used for planning and reporting. The Nuclear Planning Specialist will perform planning walkdowns, research maintenance history, and consult designs, drawings, manuals, and procedures to develop accurate and detailed work plans. This position requires excellent communication with project leads, maintenance craft, design engineering, management, operations, and vendors, as well as a commitment to excellent customer service.
Shift work will be required at times, and call-out duties can occur.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma is required.
Experience:
Three (3) or more years of planning experience at a nuclear power plant is required.
Knowledge of plant modification planning process, tools, and programs is required.
Experience with Maximo is required.
Modification planning experience and a SNC planning qualification is preferred.

Well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

Able to work in any environment demanded of the workforce, including temperature extremes and elevations.
Working knowledge of codes, standards, and technical specifications - required.
Working knowledge of plant systems, structures, and components - required.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the development of detailed plans for plant design modifications and coordinating with Site Project Leads and Design Engineers for quality work packages.
Attend assigned project meetings and communicate with management.
Incorporates SNC Fleet Lessons learned, and Industry OE in work packages.
