Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) for
Positron Emission Tomography (PET) - PET/CT Technologistto join our dynamic team at the
Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS)Work Hours:- Monday - Sunday: Between the hours of Midnight - Midnight Including Holidays
- Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hour
shift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute meal
break. - 40 hours per week.
Requirements:- Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT.
- Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
- Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed.
- Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software
(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
