Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) - PET/CT Technologistto join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS)

Work Hours:
  • Monday - Sunday: Between the hours of Midnight - Midnight Including Holidays
  • Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hour
    shift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute meal
    break.
  • 40 hours per week.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT.
  • Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed.
  • Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software
    (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
