Pay Range
$37.22 - $55.84Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients of all ages from neonatal to geriatric, which require professional judgment and interaction with patients, physicians, and other allied health care professionals. He/she is able to work independently although technical supervision assistance is always available. Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, Positron Imaging, radiation safety and the ability to evaluate the results along with the ability to determine the need for concomitant or additional studies is required.

Certification & Licensures
ARRT (N), ARRT(R), or NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required *

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required **

* and/or successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology training program

** New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Qualifications
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development and competence in providing Nuclear Medicine services for patients of all ages including neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
