The Opportunity Build specialized expertise in nuclear fuel licensing and regulatory affairs while taking meaningful ownership in a highly regulated environment.
Reporting to the Director of Fuel Facilities Operations, you'll support licensing and compliance activities, work directly with regulatory agencies, and partner across operations, legal, finance, and safety.
What You'll Do - Prepare, submit, renew, and track licenses, permits, registrations, and regulatory filings.
- Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory requirements affecting fuel operations.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies, inspectors, and licensing authorities.
- Maintain licensing deadlines, documentation, and audit-ready records.
- Support audits and responses to regulatory inquiries and information requests.
- Partner with legal, operations, finance, and safety to address regulatory matters.
- Help develop and improve licensing procedures, controls, and compliance workflows.
What You'll Bring Required - Bachelor's degree in business, compliance, legal studies, public administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-5 years of experience in licensing, regulatory affairs, compliance, permitting, or a related function.
- Knowledge of regulatory processes, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document-tracking systems or databases.
Preferred - Experience in nuclear fuel, energy, transportation, logistics, or another highly regulated industry
- Experience with permit management, audit support, or regulatory reporting
- Experience improving compliance processes or internal controls
- Spanish-language proficiency
