NP/PA - Outpatient General Surgery Full Time (1.0FTE)

San Diego, California - SRS Frost Street North Clinic

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group

Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • SRSMG is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery Division
  • Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in a general surgery setting required
    • Procedural experience strongly preferred
  • Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
  • Current board certification in applicable specialty required
  • Must be comfortable working independently

Position Details:
  • 1.0FTE full-time salaried position with the option of either:
    • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, or
    • 4 10-hour shifts per week
  • 100% outpatient position at SRS Frost Street North supporting the General Surgery Division
  • Evaluates and manages patients with hernias, gallbladder disease, soft tissue masses (including cysts and lipomas), bariatric surgery conditions, and other common general surgery diagnoses
  • Provides comprehensive pre- and post- operative care, surgical follow-up, and patient education
  • Collaborates closely with board-certified general surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is committed to pay equity and transparency. Compensation is determined by a structured pay scale based on years of experience and applicable certifications, with final placement within the range confirmed during the recruitment process. The annual base salary range is $154,500.00-$216,537.30, with eligibility for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is represented by UNAC/UHCP under applicable labor agreements.
