Job DescriptionAbout Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program:Established in 1989, our program has performed over 1,500 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic related, and CAR T and Immune Effector Cell Therapy. As a National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match transplant center since 2001, we are authorized to treat patients with all commercially available CAR-T cell products.

Essential Duties:- Independently seeing patients for follow-up. Collaborate with attending physician as indicated.
- Triage and manage patients' symptoms secondary to their malignancy or treatment regimens.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies with aspiration, IT chemotherapy administration, and Ommaya access.
- Management of chemotherapy.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
QualificationsEducation (NP):- Master of Nursing Degree.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered.
Education (PA-C):- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
- Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirements:- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an NP/PA with a focus on malignant hematology, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and CAR T therapy.
Licensure/Certifications Requirements:- NP
- CA RN License.
- Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- PA-C
- PA-C License
- National PA-C Certification
- DEA License (schedule 2-5)
- ACLS Life Support Certification required.
