Job DescriptionThe Note Sale Manager leads the planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of commercial loan sale and assignment activities across U.S. Bank's Special Assets Group. This role serves as the primary liaison between business lines, relationship managers, Legal, Loan Operations, external investors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful disposition of performing and non-performing commercial assets.
The position is responsible for managing note sale transactions, developing and maintaining procedures and controls, providing consultation services to business lines, overseeing reporting and data integrity, and driving process enhancements that improve efficiency, compliance, and risk management. The Note Sale Manager operates as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for commercial credit sales across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in commercial banking, loan workouts, special assets, or loan sale activities
- Advanced understanding of commercial credit structures, loan documentation, collateral, and assignment processes
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
