North America Sales Director - Brazing
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan (Hybrid - Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday)

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial leader with a strong background in metal manufacturing or metal distribution, preferably within the aluminum or automotive industries. This individual will have a proven record of developing sales strategies, leading high-performing sales teams, managing strategic customer relationships, negotiating commercial contracts, and driving profitable growth across North America.

Must possess:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (MBA preferred)
10+ years of sales experience within metal manufacturing or metal distribution
Minimum 5 years of commercial leadership experience with direct people management
Experience developing and executing regional sales strategies
Experience managing strategic OEM and Tier 1 customer relationships
Strong commercial contract negotiation experience
Strong financial and business acumen
Experience leading cross-functional commercial initiatives
Ability to travel 25-50%
Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

The North America Sales Director - Brazing is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and sales execution for a $250M North American Brazing business. Reporting to the VP Commercial, Automotive & Brazing, this role will drive profitable growth, optimize customer engagement, manage strategic customer accounts, negotiate commercial agreements, and lead a high-performing sales organization.
The Sales Director will collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Manufacturing, Legal, and Executive Leadership while managing key customer relationships throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute North American sales strategy for the Brazing business
Drive profitable revenue growth and cash optimization initiatives
Lead and mentor Account Managers
Forecast sales performance and monitor business metrics
Develop executive-level relationships with strategic customers
Manage two key Brazing customer accounts directly
Lead commercial contract negotiations through agreement execution
Coordinate with Legal during contract negotiations
Manage departmental budgets and commercial resources
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Plant Leadership, and global stakeholders
Promote employee engagement, diversity, and high-performance culture
Travel 25-50% throughout North America

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of sales experience within metal manufacturing or metal distribution
