Responsibilities

  • Define and implement MES deployment strategy for North and Latin America.
  • Monitor regional program progress and escalate project issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate with System Integrator Project managers to eliminate obstacles.
  • Gather and apply lessons learned to improve MES governance processes.
  • Support regional change management efforts aligned with leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with quarterly spending commitments across sites.
  • Assist in collecting and evaluating project benefits and periodic assessments of outcomes.
  • Report on regional initiatives to align with global strategies and prevent overlaps.

What you will do

The North America Deployment Lead will define the regional MES deployment Strategy and timing including installation and validation of technologies for both North and Latin America. He/she will work with the Regional network leadership to ensure program execution is always aligned to expectations, acting as a link between local, regional and global stakeholders. In his/her role the [Region] Deployment Lead will coordinate MES implementation activities for the region ensuring full alignment with the global template and strategy. He/she will work with the North America Regional and Site Deployment Leads to ensure timely and effective project execution and proactive risks management.

He/she will:
  • Monitor and report regional program progress
  • Act as first level escalation for project related issues detected at local or regional level
  • Actively collaborate with the System Integrator Project managers and Kenvue's Site Deployment Leads to remove obstacles
  • Collect lessons learned from local project execution and feed them into the MES governance continuous improvement process
  • Support change management efforts within the region in alignment with regional Network leadership and the Global Change Management lead
  • Ensure sites meet quarter spending commitments and that all regional actual spending data will be available to the Global MES Finance Lead when needed (BP, JU, MU, etc.)
  • Support Sites and Regional Deployment leads in the collection, validation and approval of benefits linked to the MES project execution, including a benefit evaluation cycle to be conducted periodically as instructed by the Global Team
  • Monitor and report to the global team the start of regional initiatives in the Manufacturing Execution space, to detect potential duplicates or projects deviating from the defined global strategy


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 10 years of business experience with at least 5 years of leadings project in the supply chain or IT manufacturing space
  • Experience working with MES systems (AVEVA Model Driven MES experience is a plus) either as a user or as a consultant/system integrator
  • Possesses excellent communication, motivation, team building, employee involvement, diplomacy, delegating skills, as well as confidence and enthusiasm
  • Strategic planning and disruptive thinking. Agile and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate within and across companies, cultures, functions, and geographies to lead change and action
  • Strong experience in automation and engineering
  • Experience in how to best apply the latest digital technologies to advance a manufacturing site and overall the E2E Supply Chain

Desired Qualifications
  • Specific Project Management documented training (PMP certification is a plus)
  • Fluency in speaking Spanish and/or Portugues
  • Experience working in a consumer goods or pharmaceutical supply chain environment is preferred.
  • Experience in global consultancy and corporate environment managing and coordinating large teams in matrix organization is preferred

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124,100.00 - $175,200.00
