Full Job Description
Chemours is seeking a North America Import & Export Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain team! This position will report directly to the Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) Americas Supply Chain Manager at our Wilmington, DE location.

The North America Import and Export Coordinator supports the business to ensure our products move into and out of the North America region as needed including for customer sales or use in raw materials to support the business strategy. This role will be a liaison between regional supply chains and will work with multifunctional teams including commercial, customer service/order fulfillment, freight forwarders, regulatory and operations.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Monitor orders, shipments, and deliveries outbound from North America and inbound to North America.
  • Troubleshoot day to day order fulfillment & logistics issues on US sourced shipments (working with logistics, warehouse, and freight forwarders), including completion of SAP transactional activities and providing training as appropriate. (i.e. annual refresher US Import Training w/BDP)
  • Facilitate weekly US export open order review meetings with updates to the TSS matrix.
  • Participate in monthly Regional Order Fulfillment Network meetings.
  • Complete appropriate filing for imports based on regulatory requirements
  • Ensure Import/Export Compliance and lead analysis/root cause corrective action for US Import & Export Non-Conformances.
  • Lead analysis and review of monthly US Supplier Metrics.
  • Refresh and maintain Duty Drawback.
  • Support Change to Business activity as it relates to Import/Export shipments.
  • Collect VOC for Annual Global Ocean RFP,
  • Initiate Customer complaint investigations in Salesforce as needed
  • Participate and drive simplification initiatives that streamline work processes and improve customer experience
  • Work on initiatives to improve Chemours' business process/tools platform (i.e. Project 44 Ocean Superuser)
  • Oversee product shipments out of US virtual warehouse including monitoring, creating/completing paperwork and communicating with logistics and commercial team


The following is required for this role:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years related work experience (i.e. Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Sourcing)
  • Proficiency with SAP, or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Solid technical skills in Microsoft Office & SAP BW
  • Strong analytical (i.e. Excel functionality) and problem-solving skills with great attention to details
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment and quickly learn new processes
  • Proactive, a good team player, willing to learn and take extra responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills in a cross functional setting


The following is preferred for this role:
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and hazardous materials handling
  • Good knowledge of import/export process - booking, customs clearance, documentation
