What will you do as a North America Director, EHS&S at Sealed Air?

As the North America Director, EHS&S, you will provide strategic leadership and operational direction for all Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability programs across 40+ manufacturing facilities throughout the region. You will lead the development and deployment of world-class EHS&S systems focused on reducing operational risk, strengthening machine safety performance, driving regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive culture of accountability and care. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership to deliver sustainable improvements in safety performance, operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and leadership effectiveness across North America.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations across North America.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Multi-site manufacturing EHS&S leadership experience within industrial, packaging, plastics, paper, foam, converting, or high-risk manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, machine safety standards, risk management, environmental compliance, and sustainability programs.
  • Experience leading machine safety initiatives, operational risk reduction strategies, audits, investigations, and corrective action programs.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships with plant leadership, operations teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, change management, and operational excellence capabilities.
  • Experience managing regional EHS&S teams across geographically dispersed operations.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% across North America to support manufacturing facilities, audits, and critical business initiatives.
