Non-acute Area Manager - Western Ontario

Non-Acute Area Manager - Wound Care

Field-Based | Western Ontario, Canada
  • Preferred residence locations: Hamilton (ideal), London, Mississauga, Burlington, or Oakville.


Mölnlycke is seeking a Non-Acute Area Manager - Wound Care to drive growth across the post-acute and home care landscape in Western Ontario. This is a field-based sales role that will expand access to Mölnlycke's wound care solutions across home care agencies, post-acute providers, and select dealer/retail partners.

This role is a home-care focused (approximately 80%), with the remaining time supporting smaller dealers and retailers that serve the post-acute space. Success in this role requires strong clinical and commercial acumen, a consultative mindset, and a willingness to be highly visible in the field.

The territory covers Western Ontario, including:
  • South West
  • Waterloo
  • Hamilton
  • Mississauga / Halton
  • Erie St. Clair
  • North West


What You'll Do
  • Drive sales growth and profitability across non-acute customer segments in Western Ontario
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with home care agencies, post-acute providers, distributors, and service partners
  • Build and execute territory and account plans aligned to customer needs and business priorities
  • Deliver hands-on product education, clinical in-services, and value-based sales presentations
  • Position Mölnlycke's wound care portfolio using a consultative, solutions-oriented selling approach
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers to expand access and adoption
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity, sharing insights with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM systems
  • Collaborate closely with Ontario acute care colleagues to ensure continuity across the care continuum


Travel Expectations
  • This is a field-based role
  • Approximately 50% travel overall, primarily by car
  • Overnight travel estimated at ~20%, depending on location
  • Candidates must be comfortable driving within a large geographic territory and spending significant time face-to-face with customers


What You Bring
  • Sales experience in healthcare, medical devices, or wound care
  • Home care or post-acute experience is strongly preferred and highly recommended
  • Medical device experience within home care is ideal
  • Clinical background (LPN/RN) is an asset when paired with a strong business mindset
  • Proven ability to manage territories, develop accounts, and grow existing business
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and results-driven approach
  • Comfort working in complex selling environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to be hands-on in the field - virtual engagement alone is not sufficient
