Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Provides high quality medical care for hospital patients.
  • Participate in chart audits and Quality assurance activities.
  • Facilitates transition of care at discharge.
  • Communicates health status and treatment plan to patient, family and hospital staff
  • Documents information completely for patient care and billing purposes
  • Conducts educational activities in required curriculums as assigned
  • Teaches medical students, residents and others in graduate health education programs
  • Attendance at interdisciplinary or nursing rounds.
  • Daily communication with the team caring for the patient
  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
  • Development of personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education including maintaining board certification • Attends and actively contributes to Meetings

Other duties as assigned.
