Full Job Description
Amentum is seeking am Intelligence Training Analyst to join our team at Little Creek Naval Base, Viriginia Beach, VA. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and delivering training programs that equip intelligence analysts with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. This includes creating training materials, teaching analytical techniques, and ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational standards. You will also assess the effectiveness of training programs and adapt them to meet evolving operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop & Deliver Training Programs: Create and implement comprehensive training curricula to enhance the skills of intelligence analysts.
  • Teach Analytical Techniques: Provide instruction on intelligence collection, data analysis, and operational methodologies.
  • Tool Training: Train analysts to use specialized intelligence software (e.g., Palantir, GIS, Analyst's Notebook) and data visualization tools effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance: Educate analysts on protocols for handling, analyzing, and safeguarding classified and sensitive information.
  • Support Strategic Focus Areas: Teach geopolitical, social, and security context to help analysts identify and assess emerging threats.
  • Tailor Training Materials: Adapt curricula to meet specific operational, regional, or sector requirements, including specialized domains like cybersecurity or counterterrorism.
  • Evaluate Effectiveness: Assess training outcomes through feedback, performance metrics, and skill assessments, and optimize training for continuous improvement.
  • Communication Skills Development: Strengthen analysts' abilities to create polished reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Serve as a mentor to junior analysts by providing guidance, support, and continuous feedback during and after training.
  • Professional Development Integration: Ensure that intelligence analysts remain up-to-date on evolving tools, trends, and industry standards.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have an Active TS/SCI (Note: Security Clearance is required prior to application)
  • 10+ years demonstrated expertise in the field of United States Navy Intelligence
  • 4+ years of Intelligence experience in support of United States Navy onboard ship as Independent Duty Intelligence Specialist
  • Experience in the field of Navy Instructional methodologies and comprehensive knowledge of training curriculum standards and development
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP) and Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) with previous experience.
  • Ability to communicate with Senior Naval Leadership on training recommendations and solutions of which pertain to Surface Navy Intelligence and representation of Commander Naval Information Warfare Training Group (CNIWTG)
  • Past experience with development of intelligence training curriculum, criteria and materials (classroom, self-training, on-line, practical worksheets, and Basic Phase Intelligence requirements.
  • Knowledge of Mission Area Review (MAR) with past usage of United States Navy Certification Event (CE) Afloat Self-Assessment (ASA) and curriculum utilized for Basic Phase (T1 events) with interaction with Naval Information Warfare Training Group Norfolk and San Diego to include detachments Japan, Hawaii, Everett, WA, and Mayport, FL.
  • Must be able to travel (minimum of 10 days to 20 maximum) to include Japan (passport to be provided)


Desired Qualifications:
  • Afloat Training Specialist (ATS) or U.S. Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) is desired but not required


Compensation Details:
US: $110,000 to $115,000
