Description

Structure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Night Site Safety Manager in New York City, NY.

NYC Licensed Site Safety Manager (SSM)/Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (CSFSM)

Essential Functions:

Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. Individual responsibilities in safety, health, and environmental matters.

Monitor effectiveness of the safety management system and progress against the Structure Tone safety Performance Standards.

Lead and provide functional management for safety personnel.

Inspects organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Produce safety management reports on safety performance.

Review accident and incident reports and investigation reports, identify any trends and ensure that there is an appropriate response to prevent future recurrence.

Report on safety performance for the business unit at management team meetings.

Consult and liaise with Corporate Safety Director on the management of safety in the division/business unit.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience is required

10-20 years of general construction experience.

OSHA 30 hour training required

Salary: 110,000 - 180,000
