Job DescriptionMcLeod Regional Medical center, a tertiary care center and a Major referral center in the area with four intensive care units and a 24/7 staffing model by both physicians and advanced practice providers is looking for a motivated APP to join their team of critical care providers. The ideal candidate would have experience in a critical area setting although new graduates are welcome to apply. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications/Training:- Minimum of a master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner required.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:- A valid SC RN License as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) verified by the LLR.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by approved accrediting agency.
- Prescriptive privileges or are eligible to apply.
Job Description:- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plans and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
- Plans, implements, and coordinates care to meet the holistic age specific needs of patients.
- Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
- Demonstrates professionalism and integrity.
- Performs physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
- Discusses case with physician and other heal professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
