Job Description SummaryAs the Master Scheduler for Generator New Units, you will serve as the owner the end-to-end production plan for our Generator New Units. You will be responsible for balancing complex customer demand with operational capacity, ensuring that our production plans are both resilient and achievable. By aligning procurement strategy with precision execution, you will anchor our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, providing the data-driven clarity necessary to achieve our delivery commitments and long-term capacity growth.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and own the Master Production Schedule for all Generator New Units. Ensure the master schedule is optimized for throughput and meeting on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
- Proactively monitor the execution against the Master Schedule and understand key drivers and roadblocks that cause schedule variances.
- Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions to mitigate delays and recover schedule slippage.
- Manage schedule changes dynamically, analyzing the impact of adjustments on downstream production, procurement, and shipping.
- Partner closely with the Procurement team to ensure alignment of material planning with the production build plan. Communicate schedule changes and demand signals to ensure components are available to support the Master Schedule.
- Act as a key contributor to the SIOP process by translating the Generator Production Forecast into a concrete, executable multi-year Build Plan. Analyze long-term demand trends and adjust the Master Schedule to reflect capacity requirements for future periods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with to define and monitor New Unit capacity. Identify critical production constraints and understand key improvement initiatives to increase capacity and throughput as it relates to the Master Schedule.
- Track, report, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), specifically On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule adherence, and manufacturing cycle time.
- Provide regular visibility to leadership regarding schedule health and performance trends.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, materials management, or supply chain planning in an industrial environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and clearly articulate production risks to stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex scheduling conflicts using a data-driven approach.
Desired Characteristics- At least 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling, master scheduling, or materials planning within a complex manufacturing environment (Heavy industrial or energy sector preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Lean manufacturing background; comfortable with the relationship between long range improvement plans and scheduling/business commitments.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
