RN New Grad Residency Program- PACU
Weekly Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 8 hour day shift
Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is an acute care community hospital with 262 beds located in Columbia, Maryland and part of the prestigious Johns Hopkins Health System. We combine world-class clinical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care.
At Howard County General Hospital, we have 11 ORs which are a great fit for the experienced OR RN looking to work for the world-renowned Johns Hopkins family. In our OR's we provide ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgeries.
The PACU has 14 beds and Pre-op has 10 beds.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
- Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
- Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
- RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
- CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
- Prior work experience not required
- RN - Registered Nurse License Upon Hire (Required)
- Experience working in a stepdown or critical care unit as an LPN, PCT or as Nurse Extern (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 37.13/hour - Maximum 57.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
