Weekly Working Hours: 36-hours/week

Shift: 12-hour day and night shifts full-time w/every 3rd weekend (self-scheduling)

Job Details & Qualifications:

The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 6 is a 23-bed medical floor, with capacity for 12 patients in need of cardiac telemetry monitoring. RNs on the unit care for complex medical patients, specializing in pulmonary dysfunction (cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, Flolan management) and transplant (lung, kidney, and liver). There is great teamwork on the unit, and staff enjoy teaching and learning from each other. They also love celebrating events together on and off the unit, such as potlucks, birthdays, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • New Grads or a Minimum of 6 months recent acute care RN M/S experience required; 1 year preferred
  • Baccalaureate degree, in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred.
    Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered. per nursing guidelines, must matriculate to Bachelors of Nursing program.
  • Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire
  • Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
