Position OverviewBayCare Medical Group (BMG), a physician-led medical group, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) to join our well-established Tampa Neurosurgery clinic. The team is comprised of four board-certified neurosurgeons specializing in cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve disorders, supported by experienced advanced practice providers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice serving the greater Tampa Bay region, with a strong focus on outpatient care and work-life balance.
Position Highlights
- Monday–Friday schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Primarily office-based / outpatient role
- No overnight responsibilities or after-hours call
- Light weekend rotation (1:7)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient neurosurgical care, including new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient management
- Participate in light weekend daytime rounding coverage on a rotating basis (~1:7)
- Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Provide patient education and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications
- Experience in neurosurgery required.
- Experience with pediatrics preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Board certified (PA/APRN) with Florida licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
