Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in network security or infrastructure operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in firewall technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, IPSec, IDS/IPS, and network security principles.
• Experience in incident response, risk management, and security operations.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards like NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global firewall management team, focusing on coaching and performance management.
• Define, implement, and enforce firewall standards and policies in line with Honda's cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with various teams to design and deploy secure network architectures.
• Oversee firewall operations, ensuring security, reliability, and availability through performance monitoring.
• Lead incident response efforts, analyzing root causes and resolving security issues.
• Manage vendor relationships, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet service levels.
