Description:
Network SME ¿ Roles and Responsibilities: Highly technical role, providing (mainly) Architectural, Design and Implementation Consultancy support for our client Cisco network landscape. Working alongside network team to deliver projects in support of building new data centre WAN/LAN network projects. You will act as the technical lead for major network deployments and migrations. This will involve providing network design leadership (high and low level network designs), troubleshooting networks design and architecture issues, design validation, analysing network and device configurations as well as providing deployment guidance. ¿ Responsible for being the subject matter expert with a strong knowledge, understanding and hands on experience with IP MPLS, WAN, LAN, Security network infrastructure and mentor to more Network Engineering staff ¿ Be able to translate customer business and technology requirements that can vary in detail, and produce high quality network solutions, at both high and low levels of detail. ¿ Candidate should able to build Design (HLD/LLDs), Implementation at Architecture Level not Just Support/TAC/Sales/Management ¿ Have experience to prepare Detail design for complex DC networks ¿ Responsible for support for the transition planning from the network roadmap, gathering information, liaising with senior and key internal and external stakeholders. ¿ Responsible for the production of required technical design and creation of low level design documentation for projects. ¿ Analysing and understanding the customer's requirements and expectations and selecting appropriate technologies to design an innovative winning technical solution ¿ Identifying new potential business opportunities within the customer's organisation. ¿ Working in Banking industry or Service provider or Large enterprise environment ¿ Maintaining a focus on achieving positive business outcomes in line with the customer requirements. ¿ Ensuring that each Solution is both financially and practically viable. ¿ Taking full responsibility Technical, Service and Commercial aspects of a Solution assuring suitability and effectiveness in achieving the desire outcome. Skills required: ¿ Should have 12+ years of experience. ¿ Out of this at least 2 3 years of experience in solution designing, LLD / HLD preparation for large Enterprise Network setups ¿ Strong understanding of Nexus switches and Data Centre Architecture. ¿ Cisco Networking Skills, ideally to CCIE level ¿ Must have very good understanding of New age technologies like Cisco ACI, SDN (SD LAN, SD WAN, SD WIRELESS), SDA. Fare understanding on Cisco Meraki, Viptela, Velocloud etc. ¿ Expert knowledge and experience in Cisco ASR9k, Cisco IOS XR, OSPF, MPLS and BGP ¿ In depth knowledge and proven application of routing (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS) in larger networks with high availability ¿ Knowledge and understanding of the working and operation of MBGP, MPLS VPNs, L3 VPN's, VPLS, L2 tunnels over MPLS, Traffic Engineering, Inter AS VPN's, Carrier to Carrier MPLS ¿ Experience in designing, implementing and monitoring Secure Networks ¿ Designed and implemented WAN network architectures in enterprise or ISP/Telco industries ¿ Experience with architectural frameworks, service oriented architecture and building architecture roadmaps ¿ Security: Firewalls, VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, , PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco Client). Also should have excellent implementation and troubleshooting skills for Check point firewall & Symantec Proxy. ¿ Load Balancers: Must have hands on experience on Citrix Load balancer. Experience on F5, NetScaler would be an added advantage Certifications: ¿ CCNP ¿ CCIE
