  • Manage operational workflows through JIRA tickets and team communications
  • Configure new systems and test upgrades in the lab
  • Perform recurring SSP compliance tasks including documentation and audit preparation
  • Provide on-call support and travel to OCONUS locations as needed
  • Collaborate with civilian leads, contractors, and mission customers for reliable network operations

Full Job Description
*This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph clearance to be considered.*

ProSync is seeking a Network Engineer to join a mixed team of civilian leads and contractors responsible for supporting two unique operational customers and their distributed networking environments. The role involves configuring network systems in multiple locations, supporting fielding efforts both in person and remotely, and providing ongoing sustainment for Cisco, Arista, firewall, and crypto devices. The engineer will be supporting daily operations through JIRA-driven workflows, lab configuration tasks, and SSP compliance activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Network Configuration & Deployment - Configure network systems and support fielding of new gear at main site and remote 2nd/3rd-party locations.
  • Cisco & Arista Sustainment - Maintain, troubleshoot, and update Cisco and Arista devices supporting mission-critical networking environments.
  • Firewall & Crypto Support - Provide ongoing sustainment and troubleshooting for firewall appliances and crypto gear used by operational customers.
  • Latte'Art & Compliance Support - Use Latte'Art to support STE/STN and SSP compliance activities, ensuring devices meet all required security and configuration standards.
  • Operational Workflow Management - Start each day by reviewing team chat and emails, then work through assigned JIRA tickets to support operational and sustainment tasks.
  • Lab Configuration & Upgrades - Spend time in the lab configuring new systems, testing upgrade configurations, and preparing gear for deployment.
  • SSP Compliance Work - Perform recurring SSP compliance tasks including documentation updates, configuration validation, and audit preparation.
  • On-Call & Travel Support - Provide on-call support for operational systems and travel occasionally to OCONUS locations once fully trained.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration - Work closely with civilian leads, contractors, and mission customers to ensure reliable network operations and successful fielding activities.


Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of experience in network engineering (OR) An Associate's Degree, a High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience (OR) A Master's degree or higher in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Significant experience with Cisco and Arista configuration and sustainment.
  • Familiarity with Latte 'Art and supporting STE/STN and SSP compliance for those devices.
  • Required to travel occasionally/ as needed to OCONUS locations and be on-call for Operational systems (Once up to speed).
  • An IAT Level I certification or higher (e.g., A+, Network+, SSCP).
  • A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.
