Job Summary

The Network Development Consultant partners closely with the President of Vandalia Health Network to drive strategic planning, business expansion, and market growth initiatives. This role plays a key part in strengthening the network's competitive position by cultivating relationships, identifying new opportunities, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape strategic plans and support new business initiatives that enhance and expand network services.
  • Lead and manage high-impact business development projects aimed at increasing market share, revenue growth, and operational performance.
  • Foster alignment and collaboration among physicians, physician groups, hospitals, managed care organizations, and other market stakeholders to support organizational goals.
  • Monitor and maintain current intelligence on market trends, competitor activity, pricing, census data, and product strategies to inform decision-making.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders through exceptional communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize diverse internal and external data sources to guide strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.
  • Skilled in analyzing statistical data and leveraging market research to support planning and business development activities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, technological proficiency, and commitment to achieving or surpassing key performance metrics.
  • Successful track record of selling or presenting to C-suite leaders within hospitals or health systems.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages.
