RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: No Northrop Grumman Space Systems 6Missile Defense Integration offers an excellent opportunity for a Network Communications 6 Network Monitoring Analyst (26-364) to join our team of talented and diverse professionals. Located at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, this role is essential for supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options. Position Overview: The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It acts as an essential operational tool that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defenses systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapons systems to meet global and regional mission goals. C2BMC supports layered missile defense systems that deliver an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensors, weapon systems, and operations at both global and regional levels to improve performance. C2BMC is crucial for all grounds and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems. The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. Essential Functions: 3 Provides first-level technical support to the warfighter and performs initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC network hardware and software 3 Documents and reports all events and issues to the CWO and receives tasks and guidance from the CCC for all operations, testing, and real-world events 3 Assists in all network hardware and software installations as directed by local SMEs and creates and maintains user accounts as directed by the local ISSO 3 This position requires rotating 24/7 shift work. The candidate will be assigned to a 12-hour shift, with the mission needs to be determined. Some rotation through off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will also be necessary Basic Qualifications: Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. 3 A Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience; or a Masters degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree 3 Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start 3 Applicants must have a current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.), which is required to start 3 Sound knowledge of Network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Network management and monitoring) 3 Must have a strong understanding of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components and services 3 Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnosis, and network analysis tools 3 Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMWare, vCenter, and vSphere 3 Solid understanding and hands-on experience with remote access tools like SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP 3 Strong understanding of OSPF, Cisco IOS, and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting 3 Experience in Windows Server maintenance Preferred Qualifications: 3 A current, active in-scope DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance at the time of application is highly preferred 3 Knowledge and hands-on experience with network management tools 3 Familiarity with encryption devices, especially TACLANEs 3 Basic understanding of Linux/Unix server maintenance 3 Experience coordinating with other DoD agencies and associated network operations organizations What We Can Offer You: Northrop Grumman offers a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that promotes your growth, supporting both employees and the companys success. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
