Full Job Description
SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Bank's Network Engineering Director, this role will support, administer, and maintain the Bank's network across the physical bank locations and data centers. The Network Administrator will also assist in the creation and maintenance of network diagrams, documentation, standards, and desktop procedures, vendor administration of hardware and software purchases, and network-related projects, tasks, and assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides network administration and support for end users
  • Actively monitors network connectivity across all sites and identifies solutions to potential problems/issues
  • Provides support and troubleshooting for Cisco Call Manager and related telephony requests
  • Assists with network maintenance and upgrade including patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
  • Assists with evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency
  • Resolves escalated requests from other engineers and service desk
  • Assists with projects and day to day service requests
  • Assists with invoices processing and additional administrative tasks
  • Continuous development and improvement of Infrastructure policies and procedures and ensuring they are put into practice and followed by the team
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or 3+ years equivalent experience is required
  • 1 - 3 years network administration and Cisco Call Manager experience
  • Any networking certification (CCNA, Network+) a plus
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Wireless, Firewall and IP telephony (Cisco Call Manager)
  • Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in evaluating problems and creating solutions for Members
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users, including non-technical users
  • Committed to providing clear and concise documentation
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work late hours/travel as needed during site build outs, major outages, or projects
