Responsibilities

The Network Administration, Lead Associate supports the administration and maintenance of enterprise network systems to ensure reliable performance and security. They assist in configuring hardware, monitoring network health, and troubleshooting connectivity issues while maintaining accurate documentation. 

Responsibilities may include: 

The Network Administration, Lead Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: 

  • Perform daily administration of network systems including routers, switches, and firewalls. 
  • Monitor network performance and availability to identify and resolve issues. 
  • Apply configuration changes, patches, and updates to maintain network security and stability. 
  • Assist with the installation and integration of new network hardware and software. 
  • Troubleshoot connectivity problems and coordinate escalation with senior staff when required. 
  • Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and change logs. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience, 0 years with PhD 
  • US Citizenship and a current active TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI. 
  • Experience administering network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls. 
  • Must comply with DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 441 requirements, holding an approved baseline certification and meeting all KSAs related to network monitoring, fault isolation, and performance optimization. 
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and basic network segmentation. 
  • Experience monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues. 
  • Ability to apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to maintain security compliance. 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Exposure to enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco or Juniper. 
  • Knowledge of VPN configuration and remote access solutions. 
  • Understanding of wireless network configuration and troubleshooting. 
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud or virtualized network environments. 
Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
