NetSuite Administrator

Location: Dallas, TX (Irving)

Salary: $125,000 - $155,000

Reports To: SVP of Business Operations

Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Position Overview

The NetSuite Administrator will serve as a core member of the IT team and primary owner of the organization's NetSuite ERP environment, responsible for platform administration, availability, security, performance, support, and continuous improvement. This individual will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Sales, and other business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions while leveraging strong knowledge of accounting principles and business best practices. The role combines hands-on NetSuite administration with project ownership, leading system enhancements, customizations, integrations, testing, training, reporting, workflow automation, and platform initiatives from requirements gathering through production delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and point of accountability for the NetSuite ERP platform, including system availability, security, performance, configuration, maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite configurations and solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of accounting principles, business processes, and SOX best practices when designing and implementing system functionality.
  • Manage and prioritize ongoing NetSuite support requests, enhancements, system issues, and platform improvements, ensuring timely resolution with minimal business disruption.
  • Lead NetSuite projects and enhancements from requirements gathering through production delivery, including project planning, stakeholder communication, documentation, testing, and implementation.
  • Build test cases and scripts, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), manage issue resolution, and support end-user training and adoption.
  • Configure and enhance NetSuite functionality using SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Design and implement workflow automation to reduce manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and maximize utilization of NetSuite functionality.
  • Develop Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide accurate financial and operational visibility to business users.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between NetSuite and third-party/internal applications, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and scalability.
  • Support broader reporting and business intelligence initiatives utilizing Power Apps and Power BI where applicable.
  • Stay current on NetSuite releases, new functionality, and emerging capabilities, proactively identifying opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and platform ROI.
  • Manage multiple concurrent priorities across production support, system enhancements, integrations, and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing NetSuite administration, implementations, enhancements, and/or ERP-related projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and configuring NetSuite ERP in a business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Experience developing Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, workflows, and system enhancements.
  • Experience building and managing NetSuite integrations with third-party and internal business applications.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, IT application technologies, accounting processes, and business operations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience including requirements gathering, project scoping, test-case development, UAT coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, and production deployment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application and business-process issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation and/or NetSuite Administrator Certification.
  • Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps environments.
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Understanding of SOX controls and compliance requirements within ERP environments.
  • Experience supporting NetSuite across multiple business functions including Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Sales.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on NetSuite professional who can operate as both the technical platform owner and a strategic business partner. This person should be comfortable troubleshooting day-to-day issues while simultaneously leading larger enhancements, integrations, and optimization projects. They will understand how financial and operational processes flow through an ERP environment, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and proactively identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting, data integrity, and overall utilization of NetSuite.
