OverviewBassett Healthcare Network, in central New York is seeking a full-time board-certified Division Chief Nephrologist.
- Salary Range: $400,000 - $460,000
- Medical Director Stipends Range: from $55,000 to $85,000
- Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
- Location: Cooperstown, NY
Job Description & Responsibilities- Join and lead an established group of 4 Nephrologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
- 100% Nephrology Practice
- 60% outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities at Bassett Medical Center
- 40% regional travel to clinic and dialysis centers
- Potential for Medical Directorship of dialysis units owned and operated by Bassett Healthcare Network
- Call is typically 9-10 weeks per year - Monday 8 AM - Monday 8 AM
- 30-50 follow up dialysis patients
- 10-30 follow up transplant patients
- Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia
- Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.

Requirements- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Certified in Nephrology and Hypertension
- Leadership experience preferred
- New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification Required
- DEA Required
