NDE Level II Technician with Rope Access training will support the Industry Services business by performing assigned inspection activities to ensure that an object, material, or system complies with applicable codes, standards, and specific job requirements at a client facility in the Ferndale, WA area. We're looking for an experienced Technician with a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
Salary & Benefits InformationThe base wage or salary range for this position is $38.00-$45.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. What you'll do:- Maintain climbing logbook per SPRAT/IRATA guidelines
- Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner
- Interface with clients on technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities
- Follow technology advancements in the NDE/Rope Access industries
What is takes to be successful in this role:- Current SPRAT/IRATA Certification Level I or Level II required
- ASNT Level II testing & inspection in UT-Thickness; MT and/or PT.
- Set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- The Level II Technician should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the Methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on the job training and guidance of assigned trainees and NDT Level I personnel.
- The Level II Technician shall be able to organize and report the results of any assigned NDT.
- Adopt an Intertek "Marketing and Sales" attitude in all client, vendor, employee, and outside contacts interactions.
- Actively pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.
- HH Safety Training preferred
- TWIC Card (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a physical exam
- A mindset of safety first.
