The Opportunity:

As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support NAVWAR Assessment Specialist supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) you will contribute to enabling Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.

In this critical role, you will be planning, executing, and reporting on assessments regarding PNT threats and successes. You will utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools, such as GIANT or Systems Toolkit (STK), to meticulously analyze radio frequency (RF) environments. Your insights and findings will provide actionable intelligence to combatant commanders, ensuring they have the necessary information to maintain and enhance navigation capabilities across all domains and military operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by ensuring PNT superiority and supporting the warfighter with cutting-edge NAVWAR solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for a dynamic and impactful role that may require CONUS/OCONUS travel and shiftwork in support of operations, exercises, and conferences.
  • Prepare, route, and review all documents required for JNWC assessments, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Create, maintain, and review event planning annexes and checklists to ensure seamless execution of assessments.
  • Ensure that all JNWC assessments are conducted in accordance with local, state, federal, or local national law.
  • Write both technical and non-technical reports on preliminary findings from assessments, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain scenario plans for future assessment executions, ensuring readiness and preparedness.
  • Work under tight time constraints with little to no oversight will be crucial in this role


Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active Interim Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Education: BA/BS in an engineering field, statistics, math, operations, computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Relevant Experience: Five years of relevant experience
  • DoD Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) assessment methodologies
  • Understanding of PNT Capabilities: Comprehensive understanding of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities, technologies, and vulnerabilities
