Job DescriptionCOLSA is seeking qualified candidates for a
Program/Project Management Analyst (Journeyman) to support a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Activity (PMA) at Patuxent River, Maryland. In this role you will support execution of defense acquisition efforts and the delivery of mission-critical naval aviation capabilities.
- Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, performance, and outcomes
- Analyze requirements, program status, budgets, and schedules to support effective execution and decision-making
- Perform management, technical, and business case analyses to inform program direction
- Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs
- Track program/project status, milestones, and schedules, identifying risks and supporting mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and industry partners to ensure messaging aligns with Program Office strategic goals and intent
- Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in a fast-paced environment
Required Experience- Bachelor's degree or higher in related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a program, project, or management analyst supporting the DoD
- Must have an active Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience analyzing program requirements, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and executive briefings
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications- At least (1) year of NAVAIR program management, technical, and business analysis discipline, related to acquisition and life cycle management.
