WSP is looking for a National Water Strategic Growth Director for our Water Business Line, based in our New York, NY office. This key strategic leadership role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, building trusted client partnerships, and leading strategic pursuits that define the future of water infrastructure.

Clients

  • Develop and execute a multi-year east region business plan aligned with WSP's national and global water objectives. Identify and prioritize target markets and clients based on strategic value and funding opportunities.


  • Strategically grow our market share to fulfill our goal that WSP become the preferred, trusted advisor to our clients.


  • Mentor client account managers and technical leaders to elevate client care and business development capabilities.


  • Lead capture planning and proposal strategies for transformative water projects.

  • Utilize our extended reach of technical and subject matter experts (SMEs) across regions, districts, offices and the globe to foster new and innovative client delivery.


  • Leverage our broad technical experience to enhance current and new service offerings and provides strategic direction and leadership of local Client Engagement Teams.


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Planning, Business, or related discipline.


  • Demonstrated experience of leadership, personal accountability, persistence, and goal oriented.


  • Ability to innovate and re-think the conventional approach to client and employee engagement.


  • Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice.


  • Strongly established relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the local area.


  • Commitment to internal and external client service.


  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.


  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.


Compensation:

Expected Salary: $175,500- $352,990

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
