Full Job Description
National Tax - Federal Tax Advisory (FTA) (EY EDGE) (Data & Technology) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) ([redacted]), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX.

Work within technology tools and proprietary EY software and review generated reports for completeness and accuracy. Consult with regional teams to create custom data normalization, cleansing and transformation solutions for raw client data. Consult with regional teams to create and oversee implementation of custom research credit surveys to gather required detail for research credit studies. Assist regional teams in completing research credit and depreciation calculations. Develop and implement new technology solutions/methodologies to automate existing processes and data transformation steps. Develop and implement ideas and concepts to improve EY R&D Incentives Prodigy.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Tax or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Tax or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience with client data transformation and depreciation and research credit tax calculations using at least 1 of the following technology tools: Excel, Access, Alteryx, fixed asset depreciation software and/or EY's proprietary research credit platform, EY R&D Incentives Prodigy.

Must have 4 years of experience in at least 1 or a combination of the following: a professional services firm, an industry position, or a mid-sized/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm.

Must have 4 years of experience in at least 2 of the following analytics tools: Microsoft Power BI suite (including Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View and Power Map), Alteryx, SAP Business Objects, and/or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.

Must have 2 years of experience identifying risks and issues to the larger project and timeline based on work being completed, escalating to the larger team, drafting communication to describe research credit-related activities, and compiling documentation related to analysis.

Must have 2 years of experience supervising teams consisting of at least 2 people on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.

Must hold at least one of the following certifications/accreditations: Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering; Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI); Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or foreign equivalent; Certified SAFe Professional; Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert; Microsoft Certified Azure Developer; Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect; Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer; Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer; Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist; SQL Server Database Certification; Microsoft Certified Power Platform App; Microsoft 365 Certified Developer Associate; Alteryx Designer Core and Advanced Certification; Data Camp Data Science Certification.

Requires domestic travel up to 10% to serve client needs.
