Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Director to drive new business growth across banks, mortgage lenders, servicers, and financial services institutions for our Veros and Valligent brands. This is a strategic, quota-carrying role responsible for developing and executing a disciplined sales approach, building a robust pipeline, and closing complex deals across a national footprint. This individual will operate as a true hunter, with a demonstrated ability to penetrate target accounts, build executive relationships, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, an active pipeline, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets within the mortgage and housing finance ecosystem.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on banks, independent mortgage lenders, servicers, capital markets providers and related financial institutions
  • Generate, manage, and convert a qualified pipeline of opportunities to consistently exceed revenue targets
  • Identify, prioritize, and penetrate high-value target accounts, including C-suite and senior-level stakeholders
  • Lead sales efforts from prospecting through close, including negotiation and contract execution


Pipeline Creation & Account Penetration

  • Proactively source new opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, industry events, and strategic networking
  • Maintain a healthy, forward-looking pipeline with clear visibility into deal stages, risks, and next steps
  • Execute account-based sales strategies to expand within target institutions and drive multi-product adoption
  • Displace incumbent vendors by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and unmet client needs


Client Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Conduct discovery to understand client objectives, pain points, and operational challenges


  • Prepare and deliver compelling, customized proposals and presentations to executive audiences
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between client needs and solution delivery


CRM Discipline & Sales Execution

  • Maintain accurate, real-time updates in CRM including pipeline stages, forecasting, activity tracking and account insights and utilize additional sales enablement tools for prospecting and broad contact communication
  • Drive accountability around pipeline data, forecasting accuracy, and activity levels and be proficient at clearly communicating your pipeline opportunities
  • Leverage CRM and data insights to inform strategy and prioritize efforts


Market Intelligence & Industry Leadership

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics within mortgage lending and servicing
  • Provide feedback to leadership on competitive positioning, pricing, and product enhancements
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in mortgage lending, servicing, valuation, or related financial services
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative sales environment
  • Demonstrated experience selling into banks, independent mortgage lenders, servicers, credit unions, capital markets or related financial institutions
  • Existing industry relationships and active pipeline
