Sector: iAAWG The National Sales Director administers, coordinates, and implements all activities within assigned territory and agents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Support agents and promote the sales of company-branded products to achieve maximum market penetration, and to attain both short- and long-range objectives for sales growth.
- The incumbent is responsible for the strategic business planning for the segment of the region's business.
- Provides leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
- Provide product expertise to Agents and their Dealers. This includes advising them on how to properly pitch the products; selling methods and techniques; handling objections; giving demonstrations and training on all aftermarket products and software.
- Ensure activities are property recorded in Salesforce.
- Keep Agents informed of all the company's changes, activities, etc. He/she generally has wide authority in performing most aspects of the job, such as scheduling his/her own workload and making day-to-day decisions necessary to perform his/her function. The incumbent has no personnel supervisory responsibilities and is not required to recommend or initiate salary adjustments, promotions, terminations, or hires.
- Assists Agents in planning and supervision of promotions and demonstrations at various dealerships to maximize sales and profits.
- Trains agent and dealership personnel in proper methods, selling procedures, and the running of various types of software.
- Supports Agents in providing input and recommendations to Dealers on product requirements and needs, requirements on promotional pricing needs, point of sale, in-store needs and advertising needs, etc.
- Keeps informed of marketplace and competitors' activities through review of information from the field or from other sources.
- Support efforts to become a process-focused organization.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS - At least 5 years of dealership finance and insurance experience in automotive.
- Leadership experience is ideal.
- Strong computer/MS Office skills; ability to learn other software systems quickly.
- Knowledge of automotive insurance.
- Strategic planning and business analytics skills.
- Executive presence and experience in facilitating business presentations.
- Strong client service and support focus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, problem solve and think critically.
- Able to act as a positive, inspiring, learning-oriented role model.
