Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The National Marketing Manager will support franchisees with regional and local advertising and marketing efforts across more than 160 Designated Market Areas (DMAs) nationwide. This role will also partner with the Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of National Programs to develop integrated campaigns that connect national, regional, and local marketing efforts with brand initiatives, standards, and special projects. This is a full-time, administrative level role, and is not visa eligible.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the Vice President of Marketing and fellow National Marketing Managers while overseeing assigned regions, co-ops, and DMAs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute strategic national marketing programs and partnerships.
  • Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and performance tracking for regional and brand programs, including coordinating co-op media buys with agency partners.
  • Oversees assigned store-level and co-op creative needs, including local store marketing, print, direct mail, outdoor advertising, and digital media.
  • Leads grand opening planning and timelines, supporting store and field teams with local execution as needed.
  • Partners with field operations teams to identify in-store and community-based opportunities that increase brand awareness and sales while maintaining brand standards.
  • Analyzes store-level data to develop local marketing strategies that improve sales and performance.
  • Creates communications and rollout materials to keep internal teams and franchisees informed of marketing plans, promotions, campaign results, next steps, and key learnings.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Demonstrates clear and effective professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present ideas and information clearly.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Customer Service and/or Client Relations experience.
  • Prior experience with local and regional marketing support and execution.
  • Prior experience in brand management.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Proactive, assertive, and creative approach to problem solving.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles and the creative process, as well as the latest technologies and how to apply them to an overall marketing plan.
  • Precision in grammar, spelling and syntax.
  • A strategic thinker able to understand big-picture objectives and lay out specific strategies and tactics in the pursuit of common goals.
  • Prior experience working within a franchise system or in the restaurant industry.
  • Prior experience and knowledge with media planning and buying.
  • Ability to analyze and read large amounts of data and extrapolate key learnings.


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, alternating between standing and sitting; working at a desk/looking at a computer screen; driving, and speaking. Cognitive requirements include but are not limited to executing tasks independently, learning and memorizing tasks, and having the ability to maintain focus or concentration.
