Required Qualifications:- Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program and Infectious Diseases Fellowship.
- Must hold a valid unrestricted South Carolina Medical License.
- Strong clinical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Position Highlights:- Full-time practice opportunity due to upcoming retirement of team member.
- Additionally hiring an APP due to volume growth.
- The position will include both inpatient and outpatient consultative services.
- Coverage includes two acute-care hospitals and one outpatient practice located near both hospitals.
- Clinical support of OPAT with a dedicated MA.
- Work with adults, ages 18+ with both acute and chronic infectious diseases, occasional transplant patients, HIV and Hep C/B care at the discretion of the provider.
- No overnight or weekend call.
- Active Hospitalist Program.
- Access to our Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists.
- Work closely with Infection Prevention.
