Position: Senior Associate Architect (L3)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Studio: Multi-Discipline/Multi-Family

TVS is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Architect with 8-10 years of experience with Multi-Family projects to join our Multi-Discipline studio in Atlanta, Georgia. This person would be an experienced project manger, who is able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of building design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building and rendering, as well as construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs
  • Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach
  • Work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Produce sets of production documents in both design development and construction documentation phases
  • Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling, rendering programs and legacy programs
  • Act as a project manager for small and medium projects or teams
  • Develop relationships and interact with clients
  • Communicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm
  • Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm's strengths and goals
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • A professional degree in Architecture
  • 8-10 years of experience in a professional design environment, specifically with multi-family projects
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, 3D modeling and rendering programs
  • Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation
  • Experience in all conventional aspects of architecture
  • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner
  • Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn
  • Able to work independently with little supervision
  • Required: Architectural license/registration
  • Optional: Active NCARB record
