Full Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Multifamily Construction Superintendent, you'll take a leadership role in the successful delivery of multifamily construction projects from planning through completion.

You'll partner directly with Project Executives, Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to drive the budget, schedule, quality, safety, and overall success of your projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants ownership and accountability-not simply another seat at the table.

Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
  • Lead all daily on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects.
  • Drive the project schedule and proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Ensure construction conforms to project plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
  • Conduct daily site inspections focused on safety, quality, cleanliness, and progress.
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and safety briefings.
  • Enforce Ironcore safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Partner with Project Managers to coordinate field and office operations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, RFIs, change-order documentation, and other required field records.
  • Monitor project costs and support effective budget and cost controls.
  • Identify construction conflicts and field issues early and drive them toward resolution.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for schedule, quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
  • Lead punch-list completion and project closeout.
  • Develop and mentor Assistant Superintendents and other field team members.
  • Set the tone for an accountable, collaborative, organized, and safety-first jobsite.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5-15 years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction.
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong experience with wood-frame and podium-style construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, sequencing, building codes, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and field teams while maintaining aggressive project schedules.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience is a plus.
  • A leadership mentality built around accountability, urgency, teamwork, and results.

Competitive Base Salary
$175,000 base salary plus $15,000 bonus

3 Weeks of Paid Time Off
Employees accrue 120 hours (3 weeks) of PTO annually, increasing to 160 hours (4 weeks) after five years of continuous employment.

Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with California law and Company policy, with accrual beginning on your first day of employment.

Employer-Paid Long-Term Disability Insurance
Ironcore provides eligible full-time employees with long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee, providing income replacement equal to 60% of eligible earnings, subject to the terms of the plan.

Employer-Paid Life Insurance
Eligible full-time employees receive $10,000 in Company-paid basic life insurance coverage.
