Job Requirements- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Eligible for employment in the US
AND:
- At least three (3) years of work experience in ELECTRICAL systems
- Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
- Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
- Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
- Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
- Wear required safety equipment
It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): - Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
The Job You Will Perform: This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturers
• Troubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics - Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distribution switchgear
• Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
• Other duties as assigned
